Re: Victoria Line 2009 stock announcement
I'm sure your patch for the announcements will be appreciated. Note that there will be an upgraded 2009 stock with fully working ATO coming from myself in the near future (and also my own announcements patch with an ATO route file).

Thank you very much for the updated announcements. Please don't worry about your English. It's fine and understandable. You should hear me trying to speak Chinese.....!

Yeah, I can imagine, "Number eighty-four, please. House special chow mein and two spring rolls". . . . . . . .
I bet it's easier to learn to speak Chinese than to write it

House Special Chow Mein and Two Spring Rolls is Number 64a at our local Take-away. Since running the Chashinai routes I can now count up to 85 in Japanese.............................................! Seriously, I read somewhere that a Chinese typewriter is about 4 foot wide..!!

With more than 50,000 characters to process, I doubt it. I mean.. fortunately today's Chinese keyboards breaks down to strokes within the characters and distributes them to different parts of the keyboard. But on the other hand, Chinese language has no alphabet, just logography and some pinyin to assist pronunciation.johnsinden wrote:I read somewhere that a Chinese typewriter is about 4 foot wide..!!
