The magazine "Svet BVE"
My Czech colleague, Vince Black, managed to upload a new issue of the magazine yesterday.
It is in Czech, but Google Translator should be able to help you. You can download HERE, by clicking the "Stáhnout" button.

Re: The magazine "Svet BVE"
If someone is interested, I might try to translate any of the articles, as the Google Translator is very inaccurate.

Re: The magazine "Svet BVE"
I think I spent about five minutes in the last six month looking at MY website. And a minute of that was looking at a link provided for Pioneer Trains, some awkward lot that changed their company name LOL
I would be most interested to see an English language translation. As I am sure would many of the users of this forum. After all, it is a worldwide forum, even though probably the majority of users are english-speaking. Most countries accept that on the internet english is widely used. And the English have gone to a lot of trouble to impose their language on many parts of the globe, whether the natives liked it or not!

Re: The magazine "Svet BVE"
So just let me know which parts are you interested in and let me know, once I have some free time, I might look at it.
Re: The magazine "Svet BVE"
As a railwayer I'm trained for short, sharp, clear-cut communications (haha, everyone here on board might have noticed ), I'll say shortly: All.

Re: The magazine "Svet BVE"
Haha, it's too much work that I cannot cope with at the moment. You'll have to give me some time.
Re: The magazine "Svet BVE"
Give me about 5 to 7 pages for translation, I'll do my best.

I would love to read Svět BVE in English. I understand some of the Czech text but not everything.
EDIT: As usual the magazine is beautiful!

the class 350 bit translate to (although goggle translates somewhat a struggle to read)
Introducing: Electromotive unit number 350 (UK)
Vince Black
present
The United Kingdom has a large number of vehicles for the simulator. You may have noticed that the menu dominated mainly by electric motor and drive. It may be also due to the dense network of the local commuter traffic. In the past, you certainly roamed in lines such as Maybank and Birmingham in one of these kits, may have been even earlier date of manufacture. Now we introduce the unit, one of the newer ones, both in the simulator, so in reality.

History
The building units of 350 with name Desiro began in 2004 at Siemens AG, is producing another year and then re-
in 2008-2009. Have to look to see that this is a modern machine for 21 century. Thirty units identified as number 350/1 were made for the former railway company Central Trains (operated mainly in central England and Wales) and Silverlink (operated north of London).
Originally the machines were 350/1 part of the order 32 sets pětivozových 450th series To implement this order, however, never occurred. Of these a total of 160 cars were assembled as a series of 40 450, of the other cars mentioned became the number 350/1.
In 2007 London Midland Company (after the collapse of the State Railways British Rail now operates in Britain several private railway companies) ordered 37 cars that had been supplied with the designation 350/2. These cars were primarily designed to replace older cars number 321, from the late 80 years. All units 350/2 were delivered in July 2009.
Present
Another 20 trains to be split between London Midland and First Transpennine Express. They bear the designation 350/3, respectively. 350/4. Start of construction is scheduled for 2012. The current set of care depot in Northampton, which was built in 2006 and served for the regulation of these cars range 321st Siemens, which operates the depot, is able to provide maintenance and other vehicles Desiro type (see paragraph Nick).
Nickname
Desiro is a common designation for suburban trains used in many European countries, which have for this personalized mode of transport acceleration and braking distance
Specifications (1 car)
Manufactured by Siemens
Year 2004-2014
Length 20.4 m
Weight 175.5 tons
2000 hp Performance
The maximum speed 160/180 km / h
BVE
The model for the simulator was built for version openBVE straight. Like the actual unit 350 for a modern mode of transport is a model example of current, quality work. Although their errors has, but more on that below.
On the home page http://pioneertrains.wix.com/pioneer-trains (we write about it
in this issue column in the surf) can be set to download in two versions:
• green-: the search for the menu item Download CL 350 LM. The installation package (about 46 MB) You can download both zip and exe format. The installation creates a folder on your hard drive CL 350 HQ 2012th The train is in the colors of the London Midland in version 350/2 from 2008.
• blue-gray: the menu, find the CL 350 SL. Here you will have to settle with only zip format. After installation, you create a component CL 350 SL HQ 2012th
Both fastener installation packages are stored in the vault Mediafire.
Cabin includes all possible animation controls (direction of travel, lighting, security system, etc.), but unfortunately does not stop the animation and the speed lever. The main deficiency I find the lack of manual control! I'll try to fix it here.
To set started off, you must use a procedure similar to other British trains, ie:
• Set the position reverzer Forward (F key), then back to neutral (V);
• AWS confirm the "Sunflower" (Insert);
• Set the control back into position Forward (F);
• turn on the lights (4, 5 - optional);
• press the alarm button DRA (Space), or close the door (F5/F6);
• confirm the departure buzzer (6)
and odbrzdit
Please note that the pantograph is already raised, there is no need for the usual 2 button to start the engines!
As far as the outside looking in, like here in this issue reviewed a number of unit 143, a large drop fps wait! For example. track in Birmingham in the departure station, I measured the value of the cabin 75 to 80 fps in outside view, however, only 4 to 5 fps. This is primarily due to the chassis of the 3D, animation and sophisticated interior doors. Looking from the outside is not much to criticize (perhaps with strange marks on the chassis, which seem to be a dirt or rust), but if you just recently bought a new PC, I think with this power train nezajezdíte.
The sounds are not that many to write, I can not compare them with reality. They are very quiet, as it
with modern kits expected. Sometimes I hear noises while driving, which I find both old Czech sci-fi films from the sixties.
Under both sets is signed Ben Leahy, with contributions from other authors (eg Plugin UKMUt.dll etc.).

So pick any article, if you want... :-)
Re: The magazine "Svet BVE"
You picked any? I want to prevent the two of us working on the same thing.
Re: The magazine "Svet BVE"
I'll start off with the editorial and the "News since last issue"

I would like to see a complete translation if someone is willing to do it. Google translate is good, but leaves a lot to be desired.

Indeed. I was talking to my colleagues and there could be a possibility to create a translated issue... buát someone has to help me. Therefore thanks to Quork, who jumped into it voluntarily.
