No he's just as much a tosser as the TFL bureaucrats! Besides he'd get stuck on the way

What happened then?Ad1992 wrote:My apologies for the long silence. This route is still very much a wip however due to TFL being a bunch of ***** it has greatly delayed us at least for the time being...

I would guess its impossible to get a camera within 500 light years of any TFL infrastructure with all this Olympic shite going on, plus the paranoid security staff and possibly even the amazingly efficient G4S lot . . . . . .
I wouldn't want to be anywhere near London for all the keys on a chinese typewriter right now

No it has nothing to do with security staff even if they are as incompetant as TFL. To put it simply the freedom of information department aren't very good at providing information or frankly anything!
Re: 1992 stock update and a route to go with it ;)
Did you need gradient diagrams, curves, speed limits, that sort of thing?

I can agree with what Ad1992 has said above - you see I need the info that Drag0nflamez has pointed out for my upcoming Jubilee line route also, but no TfL would rather treat you as if you are part of a terrorist organisation!

Yes but I do have partial information which is why White city to liverpool st is built. The rest seems impossible to come by though and I am not going to even entertain contacting them again. It's one thing to say under section 24 bla bla bla, it's another for them ignore your own section 24 paragraph....Drag0nflamez wrote:Did you need gradient diagrams, curves, speed limits, that sort of thing?

With what did they respond then?

Re: 1992 stock update and a route to go with it ;)
Hah they couldn't and instead referred me to a pointless investigation company that like TFL haven't got the balls to communicate with people.

already available here... (it's the most recent normal WTT, since the Olympic WTT isn't representative of how the Central usually works)tonytrainsfree wrote:no I got the up to date working timetable for the central line.Ad1992 wrote:So you're saying you have gradient information?

Re: 1992 stock update and a route to go with it ;)
Firstly I need a timetable a lot older than that, secondly what I need is gradient information.
Re: 1992 stock update and a route to go with it ;)
I'm not sure if I can get a 2002 Central Line WTT from the internet. Perhaps a FoIA request will solve it... they have a nice archive at 55 BroadwayAd1992 wrote:Firstly I need a timetable a lot older than that, secondly what I need is gradient information.

Brilliant work and stunning detail. But doesn't it make you angry (it does me) when all you get on feedback responses is something like this:
I read the description. I still want the download link.
Everybody wants something for nothing these days. It's all want, want, want, and do nothing for it. I think it's high time we started charging for this stuff. Controversial, I know, but I'd be interested in your responses.
Keep up the excellent work, lads.
Cheers,
John

I think a new thread could be about to start on this. John's observation rings true in my opinion, massive appetite for "want" is a symptom of our society which is unattractive in the extreme. Well stated, John.
The views in the videos are extremely encouraging. It's a shame the lighting has a minor problem, and it isn't the builders fault. Notice when the train is in the brightly lit station that the exterior of the cars is in shadow even though the station lights are bright. I wonder if the right combination of Track, Brightness and/or day/night texture = emissive color might correct this?
Re: 1992 stock update and a route to go with it ;)
As I said a few pages back, this is because of the lack of brightness commands at the time being. However seeing as it's still a wip and not a finished article I haven't put them in yet. Rest assured the train will not look dark like that when it's finished
k.
