Textures on a .b3d cube object?
Would someone be able to tell me if its possible to put a texture onto a .b3d cube object or do I have to make the items up with the vertex commands instead??
Thanks

Ha, our Wisdom Temple might have a guest, Luigi Cartello has it brilliantly written in his tutorial on object building! Check out our new Wisdow Temple.

I shall indeed, I am guilty in that I haven't had a look yet! I definitely will now, cheers Derryck.

You are not guilty with anything, it has just been opened 5 minutes ago...
Should you need some help on cube texturing, I think I might help you... but if you take a look at Luigi's guide, I am sure you will understand.

When you are familiar with meshbuilding it's not difficult to knock up the cube and apply the co-ordinates. It comes with practice. Luigi's guide is very useful. It was what I used to learn the principles of object building

Yes I've got very familiar with meshbuilding now, so I did wonder if it might just be easier to look at building them as faces instead of as a cube command. I will have a look at the guide but in the long run it may be easier to do them as seperate objects.

I used to use the cube far more in my earlier work than I do now. A properly made mesh will be more efficient and allows the developer more precise control over the result.

I think I'll stick to doing it that way then, just sometimes it seems like it takes forever to build something but then I guess thats just me being a lazy Essex boy!!
