Railways & Music
Well there's obviously a great amount of interest in music in the forum (to say nothing about Railways...!), so I thought about yet another game we could have a go at - well there's nothing on the telly, is there? All you have to do is find a word or words which link a railway topic to music. The music topic could be the title of a song, a band, a group, a piece of music, even a line from a song, (provided you state which song) - the possibilities are endless...! Anyway, here's my starter for 10 and we'll see how far we go.

Re: Railways & Music
As there is a general trend to flog deceased musicians material to death on the demise of the performer, I think we should pause and pray that Danny O'Donnell, Cliff Richard and Max Bygraves (google him) live forever.

Most well known. There was a dirty reggae version I remember from the 70s, very popular in the clubs. Buggered if I can find it anywhere.

Thought it might - Muenchener Freiheit was a Rock Band in Germany in the 80's and I'm sure it's also a station on the Munich U-Bahn. Must get a life.....!

Re: Railways & Music
This song named "Train", performed by J-pop group "Ketsumeishi". This song is used by JR East to cerebrate its 20th Anniversary in form of promotion video on TV in 2007. Sorry this is a Japanese song, but I really love it because its strong rhythm as well as its positive lyrics.

You may find different version made by railfans around the world as well
