Re: Guess the station!
I'm surprised. While the images themselves aren't very characteristic if you don't know the station, the story is, and a little research would give you all the solution...

Re: Guess the station!
Well, form German railway museums I know the following: Chemnitz (Hilbersdorf), Bochum and Nuremberg... the highspeed route definitely goes through Nuremberg...
Re: Guess the station!
The signal box is labeled Kf. f is for traffic controller signal box (as opposed to w for pointsman signal box); K is for the place. So we look for a former cargo station and a former train depot in a place starting with K. Also I'll add the place is part of a city (thus the name is ******-K******) which has a 1000mm-gauge tram network with a steam train running on their net occasionally. Further; if you look on view 1, left to the signal box, you see one signal. It's not very well visible as it is far, so I'll reveal it is a H/V signal, so we're in Germany (West) obviously.

Re: Guess the station!
Well, Germany is quite big to just shoot... Even the Western Germany is still too large. Darmstadt-Kranichstein? Haltingen–Kandern? If the stars represent the correct amount of letters, then my tips are faulty yet again.
Re: Guess the station!
It's Darmstadt-Kranichstein, that's right!
In Kandern, there is a heritage railway, but afaik no railway museum as such. Also, the railway depot is still in use by us (DB). Haltingen will be connected to the Basel tram network, which is 1000mm in gauge, but afaik that isn't finished yet.

Re: Guess the station!
Nice!:-) I realized that our German teacher from high schools actually spoke about Darmstadt (he has a flat there) ane he also mentioned something about historical locomotives. Well, I guess its my turn then. I'll go and find something suitable.
