Unhandled Windows Forms Exception
So today I've decided to test out the package feature in OpenBVE. When I was installing the package I created, I got this error

I believe that it was caused by Chinese character in that file name, is there any chance of fixing it?

Re: Unhandled Windows Forms Exception
Chinese characters sounds quite possible
Can you share the broken file at all or reproduce with a minimal sample (the package doesn't care at the minute about the actual contents) which I can see?

Re: Unhandled Windows Forms Exception
I don't have the package file on me right now, but it's the train causing it so I am only sending the train, use whatever route you want and try to reproduce that
p.s. no problem on creating, only installing

Re: Unhandled Windows Forms Exception
Created and installed OK here (Both in the debugger and in a fresh build pulled from the server)
That probably means the Package.xml file contains something it doesn't like, so I could do with a copy of that
Other possibilities:

- Which Windows version and language are you on?
- I've tried Chinese and Japanese characters in the name / description/ author fields, which appear to work, maybe you've used something really odd?
Re: Unhandled Windows Forms Exception
1.Windows 10
2.I was using English as my display language(but also installed Chinese Traditional and Simplified)
3.I've now tried using Chinese as the name /author fields, and japanese as the description, once I hit create, that error happens

Re: Unhandled Windows Forms Exception
Ah, now I've found it- Thanks.
You need to select the folder you're trying to package in the first dialog (where you save the filename etc.)
Fixed the crash (and a couple of other related spots), and added an appropriate error prompt if you try to do this

Re: Unhandled Windows Forms Exception
Oh you need to select it? No wonder why the dependency button is disabled
Thanks, I will try it tomorrow!
