This!
I have just been made aware of the following video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jVaIlOWMStI
Firstly if LJ is a user on this forum, thank you to at least one person for sticking up for the developer.
If it is one thing that really hacks me off, it is when someone takes something that blood sweat and tears went in to, changes the colour and says oooh look at what I have just done.
No no no! You don't just do that without asking the builder of the very much identical model and code, do you mind if? Or even just some kind of acknowledgement, that such work being demonstrated is still the train made by BVEWR, which it is!
Here is an idea, make your own train you prick. If you really want to say look at what i've done, do it all! The code, the modelling, the lot. Do it, go on. Then you'll know exactly how much time goes in to building your own things.

Re: This!
I love how he says he needs to add "minor shadowing" to the completely butchered textures. In all seriousness though, he's probably 12 and has no idea what plagiarism is. I understand having someone do something like this to your work can be extremely infuriating, but I would take a calmer approach into making them understand that it's wrong to edit someone's work without permission.

Re: This!
It is not just editing someons work without permission, it is the fact that what was made and by whom is completely missing and seems to be irrelevant. Yet it is not a new train, it is the same train with a different colour.
Like I said, he should make his own train then he can understand the work it takes and how incredibly frustrating it is when someone changes it, then calls it a different project.

Re: This!
Firstly, it does not belong to the announcements. So I have moved it.
Secondly, I do understand your anger, but please refrain from using such language especially when speaking to the public. You don't know if the person is a member of the forum anyway.
Thirdly, if needed, flag the video for copyright, it can be done on Youtube.

Re: This!
It's something that you just have to get used to!
For example some people might think I never spent 100's of hours making a Class 180 cabview or someone else made a Class 158 one.
As Dexter says report it to YouTube.
This will be my last post on here.
Over the years I have been abused by email regularly and even abused on a website.
Now I find that this forum feels free to ignore that.
We have lost a good many developers for bve thanks to those people, Steve Green, Richard Halliwell and the latest is Martin Corbett of BVETMD to name a few.
So I would not get too upset about it.

Re: This!
BVE WorldWide does not encourage and/or support such behavior. BVE WorldWide does does not hold responsibility for individuals doing so of their own will and outside of this forum.
If you feel uncomfortable here, you are free to make a decision and not participate. That is what basically what you have stated in your "last" post, so I have now deactivated your account. I will not delete your account as we want to keep context in discussion threads.
All the best in future, Steve.
