How to setup the pro throttle with BVE

Just purchased the Pro Throttle for Open BVE. Not sure how to set up the throttle commands.
can you please advise.

Hopefully it should appear as a joystick in the openBVE settings page.

If so:
1. Center all joystick axis.
2. Press the 'Add Control'  button.
3. Select one of the following from the dropdown: SINGLE_FULLAXIS, POWER_FULLAXIS, BRAKE_FULLAXIS
4. Change the radio button to 'joystick'
5. Click in the joystick grab box with your mouse.
6. Move your desired axis.

You can obviously also do this with any other control, selecting a button instead
