Don't often think of "Iraq" and "Train" in the same sentence, yet there is a railway system there - what's left of it.
This BBC article shows how the staff are people who care about the job, in the face of a government/management who are a bunch of *ankers (insert your letter(s) of choice there, 'b'; 'cl' & 't' might not be the ones you choose) Smile

It looks like they have some sort of ICE-4 derivative?

Of course, few media outlets outside of Norway have reported on the missing Danish V250 set, which was found in Libya after the fall of Gadaffi. Apparently, instead of being returned from Alstom in Italy to Denmark after it had been repaired, Berlusconi gave it to Gadaffi as a gift!

Noting how unreliable these trains are, it's understandable how nobody in Denmark twigged the set was missing!

Ansaldo, not Alstom! Ansaldo Breda is for railways what Dacia is for streets - only even worse... The Dutch cancelled their order of "Fyra" EMU from Ansaldo after even in several years Ansaldo weren't able to get all cars of the EMU to go in the same direction reliably...
