Isle of Wight
With my GWR route just about complete, I've been having a go at updating a route I made about 5 years ago, Shanklin - Ryde on the Isle of Wight, below are a few screenshots of the work I've done so far.
Features include so far

Shanklin Station

Approaching Lake

Lake Station, the shelter is still a WIP...
Just for comparison, here is my original representation of Lake Station,

Re: Isle of Wight
Lake is now complete apart from the platform shelter that needs some new textures, but that's only a small job... Made a start on rebuilding Sandown, though looking at the screenshots I need to do some work on the power rails, they're a little rough around the edges.

Re: Isle of Wight
I wasn't happy with Sandown junction, it just didn't look realistic so I've started it from scratch, I've also made some sloping ends for the power rail so they look a little more realistic.

Track screenshot and Lake Station just about finished, rather pleased with this now.

It is looking nice, I believe you will make many people delighted when the route is released!

Thanks, I appreciate the feedback.
Little update, I fancied a day out on the trains on Saturday since my partner was going shopping, so I took a trip to the Isle of Wight with the dog, got plenty of photos and Brading signal box is well worth a visit for anyone in the area, good day all in all.
Sandown station is coming along nicely now.

Here is a photo of the real thing taken from a similar angle - http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/4295522

Possibly will be, going as far as Brading for the first release, then on to St Johns Road.
Sandown station is nearing completion, need to add a few passengers and the disused sidings to the left.

Re: Isle of Wight
Sandown is looking a little more complete now with the addition of scenery and passengers, though this amount of passengers is a little optimistic...
It must be a summer Saturday...

Re: Isle of Wight
Brading station is looking a little more complete now with the addition of the disused 2nd/3rd platform, this its self has proved time consuming owing to it being a different construction to the platform still in use, also added the original gas lamps.

Re: Isle of Wight
For such a small station, Brading has proved to be quite a headache, the disused platform is coming along nicely now though, next task is to tackle the footbridge...

Re: Isle of Wight
Started work on the footbridge, it's actually an old BVE2 object re-textured and altered to suit Brading.

Re: Isle of Wight
Footbridge and disused signal box are now complete and I've made few alterations to the scenery, I didn't like how many different tree textures there was so I've reduced it to just a couple, it looks far better.

The Class 483 now has a detailed underframe.

Re: Isle of Wight
I should be ready to put a release together soon, just got to find some time, real life is taking over at the moment!
Next job is to sort out somewhere to upload it as my current web host is ****

Maybe some of the other established content creators would be interested? Otherwise I could host on the Schmiden miniature railway's homepage, at least as long as we don't need the webspace ourselves (which isn't happening any time soon, using only roughly a third of the 1GB of space we have).

More than happy to host if you want, just drop me a mail
I've got a couple of BVE2 era routes, plus a reasonable selection of Mechanik stuff up at the moment as well as my own stuff, and I promise I'm not going anywhere.
I would post more of my older collection, most of which has vanished off the face of the internet, but the last set of 'issues' makes me wary of doing that.
Cheers
