More Free Objects
These two objects are public domain replacements for another couple of those lost in January. I've got some more bits and pieces on the way, but for the moment, these may find a home somewhere
First off is a set of basic terraced houses. This object is a drop-in replacement for the original 'stoneterrace.b3d'
The second, I'm rather pleased with
It's a model of Class 14 D9531 ('Ernest')-
Many thanks to the Bury Hydraulic Group for bringing this lovely little machine to the North Norfolk Railway summer diesel gala, and letting me get the pictures required to build this model.
This has been built from the scale drawings, and as such should be very accurate.
Cheers

Excellent work, Chris! Two fine additions for routebuilders, we need more of them!

In the matter of case sensitivity it's generally irrelevant which software is used to create a website.
Most websites are hosted on Linux/Unix architecture servers, and those are case sensitive.
Mistakes can easily creep in when a file is uploaded to the server by FTP and the web link isn't typed exactly the same as the file name.
The same can happen in BVE route files - the items listed in "With Structure" won't load on a linux machine if the file is cased differently.
Windows ignore this.
Re: More Free Objects
And another one:
This is another drop-in replacement for a withdrawn object, with basically identical dimensions

The modern equivalent:
Again, a direct clone of the withdrawn object, drops straight in

Sir Chris Lees,
I do thank you as I am excited for your Class 14 Ernest D9531 because I do find and downloaded the locomotif now driving with the brother locomotif the number D9539 at the webpage site

Re: More Free Objects
Now that's quite interesting
The wheelsets are horrific [Should be rectangular spokes and a solid counterweight], and I've got no idea what he's chosen to play with the scaling of the model when it was absolutely perfect to the scale drawings. I've never come across British Railways painting spoked wheelsets white (I *think* I've seen a few tyres painted white, 47s???); I think that's a German or at least Eastern European thing?
The bufferbeam drawgear seems to have come from something American, although that's a very neat trick with multiple transparencies to create a complex 3D illusion
The other model is the much older Alan Wheeler one.
Cheers
