Class66 PZB90? How come that is forseen for Edinburgh-Aberdeen? PZB 90 is the current software version of german train control system Indusi... So while there are Class66 engines with PZB 90, I somehow doubt they happen to get to Edinburgh...

Not sure actually, but I've been doing some further fishing, and it appears that Class66PZB90 is actually the 2005 BVE4 version of the Class 66 by Martin Finken.
German developer, so that's probably where PZB 90 came from. I don't have a copy of this, but the one I linked above is an appropriate replacement.

Oh, I know Martin from the LokSim3D scene ;-) He's an able developer for sure. Yepp, that will be the reason for that addon to be equipped with PZB; though there is no real PZB plugin for BVE. I had once started thinking about doing one, then a member of this board stepped in and started coding. Or rather he had very much done already, it was close to an alpha state. Sadly, he suddenly seems to suddenly have disappeared =( I hope he's well and just went on to other things.

Being from 2005 this might well be Martin's latest BVE addon, afaik that's roughly the time he came to LS3D.

Sir Quork
This conversation of PZB plugin of BVE made me think too hard again and go looking through memory of my mind.
And I did find a PZB function in a plugin DLL I find in a train C12 V36 of DBAG (it may be by sir oskari? for BVE4 windows) at this downlink webpage site http://obts.wikia.com/wiki/Germany#1938_BMAG.C12.2BC14

I read many functions of PZB90 in the file ...\ATS\ATS_OSG.cfg with this C12 V36 locomotive I think for to be used in panel.cfg panel lamps? I am not sure of how well or good this does work coordinated with railway signals of Germany, though sir Quork you may try and wish.  This train is small delite for me having wheels in motion with gear pushing.

Good day and night for you

Thank you for mentioning it. While that sure was a great piece of work for back then, especially for someone outside Germany or Austria (they use the same system), the plugin is old and not up to date and also not exactly an exact representation of the real thing.
