NWM New Year release Empty NWM New Year release

Post by call2 Tue Jan 07, 2014 9:39 am

TSC have this morning released an update to NWM.   http://www.trainsimstuff.org/home

NWM is an ongoing WIP, and this release is mainly scenery improvements and changes to allow more randomisation throughout all the diagrams.

New diagrams to include many new trains that are now available for OpenBVE will be released later this year.

Much appreciated- is Sound 2 intended to be in a different format (RAR not Zip) from the other files?

No. Sorry about that. A small slip! Steve will take a look and put things right. Thanks for bringing it to our attention.

It's good to know that it really is still being worked on, and I'm looking forward to future releases.

This is a very good update to what is already a very polished line.
Its nice that we don't have quite so many speed restrictions and we still have a good number of freight schedules.
Quite enjoy trying to get the Class 33, 7 Coach consist to do the Mail run on time Smile

Great update, only problem I have is on entering tunnels; where you can't see the other end. I get a greyish pulsating view of the tunnel, then once the end of the tunnel is in view everything goes back to normal. Any ideas?

Are you running Intel integrated graphics? I've seen these not liking fog before. Try updating your graphics drivers either way Smile

Cheers

Great stuff chaps, I love NWM hand have been driving along for years. It's fantastic to hear that development is ongoing as so many projects these days seem to die off and that was what I feared until this month  Smile

The reduction in TSR's is definitely a big help I will admit, and the new freight runs are fantastic. I prefer to mix things up and do semi-fasts with a 31, 33 or 37 then 47s and 50s on the faster expresses plus all of the fun freight that can be had with the 56, 58 and 60s just keeps the enjoyment going.

Keep up the good work  Very Happy
