Open Safety System in Ubuntu Empty Open Safety System in Ubuntu

Dear Members

I have installed the latest stable version of the OPENBVE from the software center in my ubntu 12.04. At first site things look great but once the Loco started to accelarate further and when i have reached the first signal post to my surprise no safety controls (AWS Etc.) were working. The controls which were used in Windows to override TPWS warnings (insert shortcut - if i am not wrong) etc., were not giving any response when they are hit. Similarly the wiper just looks like a uncoloured portion in the loco and no movement is there when i tried to switch it on or off.

One more bug which i face is the signal work perfectly in NWM and northerline LU but when I tried loading the cross city route and the Edinburg- Aberdeen route in every signal post what i see is only a bare post without any lights in it.

I kindly request the members to help me out to sort these two problems.

Thanks in Advance

Latest version of Mono ruins OpenBVE. Also, it might be possible that your 323 doesn't have UKTrainSys as train plugin. But Ubuntu has been going downhill ever since Unity became mandatory... *cough* Mint.

Older train plugins only operate on Windows. There are now multiplatform options but not all developers are using those yet.

Drag0nflamez, why would Unity be mandatory? Gnome Shell and Gnome Panel (Fallback Mode) are just a click away in USC.

It's still a horrible default interface meant for tablets.
