So instead of everyone saying i want x,y,z for the programme, what trains are you all realy wanting to drive in openBVE?

so I would say;

Class 321
UK
external and cab.

Anyone else have any trains there wanting?

Players train wish list. Empty Class 313 and LT2009 cab

Post by VishnuB Thu May 17, 2012 11:08 am

A Class 313 train with external views would be the perfect addition to the Moorgate to Drayton Park route (which could also use a facelift Very Happy). The most recent one is James Withers's 2002 one, which has disappointing graphics and sounds by today's standards. Zane Saxton and Reece Bolton were planning to upgrade it, but I think their project died after BVE Rail Network closed.

A panoramic cab for the LT2009 stock would be nice as well. AFAIK Richard Chusney had one in the making, but when he retired from the scene, he deleted his files, leaving only his close friends with his ex-WIP's.

I have your LT2009 already. But seeing Richard's panoramic cab for it:

Players train wish list. 1-train-cab

I feel it could have been better if Richard had ever released his ex-WIP's.

Moorgate to Drayton park is a part of my Northern Heights line!
Yes, Hans, I've been following your thread too! It seems you've almost finished. Are you just waiting to hear from Tom about the 1959 stock permissions now?

I don't think that's openBVE, and also, it's the prototype cab, and not the same as the production model.

That doesn't look that comfy for a new train. The seat is quite basic looking and it looks like a bit of a reach to power handle.

Yes, it seems so, but I think it's only a prototype.

Joey, you might be right. I'm not sure if this is a WIP screenshot or a prototype rendering made by TFL, but at any rate, Richard was making a panoramic cab for the LT2009 and it's sad it never got finished.

It is a tfl prototype render. No way it could be done in OpenBVE.

Thankfully I was able to get hold of some of his WIPs and one of them will be making a release soon.

Oh, okay. That's great that you have some of his WIP's. Are you working on them? If not, are you willing to share them? And which will be seeing a release?

The Class 332/333 will see a release eventually.

See you next year when I finally have my download...

Uktrainsim should really increase the maximum amount of people in the queue. I know they have a bandwidth bill, but we're not in the dial-up era anymore...
