New project: CSLR
Hi all,
I like tunnels and history, so I am currently working on a new projevt: the City and South London Railway (CSLR) running from Clapham Common in the South to Euston in the North, including all stations inbetween. The time has been set to about 1905, after the 1900 extention from Stockwell to Clapham Common. The line will be rather dark, the tunnels narrow, the stations lit dimly and the cab spartan. Do you guys think that more people than me would like to run that line?

It can definitely be an interesting experience... yet I think it will be difficult to gather appropriate material (e.g. passengers in dresses from those times).

You're right. I can change stations and tunnels according to the era (including arc lamps and all-white ceilings), but passenger clothing may be more challenging. I have outside forms of the loc and cars. Now I need a proper train set and a "cab", although these locs didn't have a proper cab...
