Basically I've started this up because there are some really kick ass unsigned bands out there, as well as some on minor labels... And I thought it would be great to share some links etc for them...

So well here's 2 of my favourite up and coming acts at the minute...
First up is a band Im quite heavily involved with at the minute...they're unsigned, and aged 16/17... and from Coventry...
I'd appreciate it if people could give them a listen, and possibly pass on some feedback/their thoughts...
They're a pop-punk style band may I add...

You can find them on Facebook here: https://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Prophets/122986484408161?ref=ts

And listen to their music here: http://www.soundcloud.com/theprophets

And my second artist to be posted, are a minor label band, from Camden.
I've known about them for about a year now, and they've recently released their album across The UK and Europe as well as in China and the USA. The band are called Stuka Squadron (after the dive bombing regiment of the Luftwaffe, during World War II). They have a great stage presence, where by their story and image is that they are vampires from the 16th/17th century and even before, who were taken by Adolf Hitler during WW2, to fly bombers for the Nazi airforce... Don't worry their not a "nazi" band, and aren't in support of the Nazi regime or actions.
Their 'biography' however is quite amusing.

This can be read here: http://www.stukasquadron.com/pages/history.htm

Their tour dates are also on the website http://www.stukasquadron.com/ along with some clips of the music on their album (titled 'Tales Of The Ost').

They're a classic rock/metal inspired band, with some of their tracks sounding very New Wave Of British Heavy Metal (Iron Maiden, Judas Preist, Saxon etc). They've also had great reviews from alot of magazines across Europe, including Metal Hammer, and some other big ones! Positive

Enjoy! Happy
