Re: OpenBVE Metropolitan Line (For Real)
Our newest member Jeff has been the biggest help to us. He is a brilliant model builder, and is helping to revive hope for the London Underground BVE scene.

Fifth project update :
We have started to build lineside objects and preparations are being made to commence the start of building Neasden Depot, which will most likely be the highlight of the route, with the most attention and detail being put into this area.

As school starts again progress will unfortunately slow. In this event, we are currently looking into getting some additional help. Expect more updates in the coming months.

Re: OpenBVE Metropolitan Line (For Real)
Our newest member is skilled in the arts of route composition, and here is a photograph of the placeholder portion of the route (Which ends at Finchley Road), at Aldgate, with some gorgeous tracks, made by the same member. I will refrain from posting as much photographs as before, as I wish for the highlights to be on the website.

Re: OpenBVE Metropolitan Line (For Real)
We are planning to add back the old marker system that old BVE Routes used. I think that these Markers are a good way to learn a bit about the route while you're driving the route.

Re: OpenBVE Metropolitan Line (For Real)
Today we have been joined by a brand new member, Anthony, who will be able to assist us in the modelling required for the Metropolitan Line Route! We have also been joined by another member today, Jvoan, who will also be able to assist us in our projects, including that of the Metropolitan Line.Â
We hope to be able to showcase some of their work soon.

More models are being created by the team currently, while at the same time working on the Class 483 project.

Re: OpenBVE Metropolitan Line (For Real)
Like the WIP Jubilee Line made by BVE Western Region (I think). I think the way the map should work is that the map should work on the build and release method which should allow people to not be screaming out for constant updates and etc. (just my opinion)

Re: OpenBVE Metropolitan Line (For Real)
We are releasing in three phases for this reason, Baker Street to Harrow on the Hill, Baker Street to Amersham, then Aldgate to everywhere. After this we are doing the 90s 80s 70s and 60s era maps, which will be released in that order.

Thanks to a recent trip to London from one of our members, some useful reference resources have been found.

Can I just ask if the Central Line is still being made?

It is most definately still being made yes.
Re: OpenBVE Metropolitan Line (For Real)
Question: Will there be moving AI like on the Network West Midlands map or static AI?

Re: OpenBVE Metropolitan Line (For Real)
Moving trains quite probably yes. I will tell you that the signalling system has been improved upon allowing a train ahead now; which before would mess up the atp, as well as a more 3d looking and interactive 1992 stock.
Don't ask me when, but I assure that it is still very much in progress along with Phase 3.

More diagrams for the group have been placed in our shared area; improving our work efficiency.

Re: OpenBVE Metropolitan Line (For Real)
Should we bother making it 2010 meaning we have to make another train when we could encourage other developers to rise up and make it themselves, or should we make the first era 2009 so we have second to no difference but the trains are accurate?

Re: OpenBVE Metropolitan Line (For Real)
I'd say a reason why we shouldn't make it 2010 is that we should encourage other developers to get out there and make this train, and so we can make more obscure ones (I realize I might be repeating myself)

Re: OpenBVE Metropolitan Line (For Real)
xD but question, will those trains which permission was given to convert to BVE from MSTS ever get released or are there still problems with copyright and stuff?

Re: OpenBVE Metropolitan Line (For Real)
Yes I would say that they will get released eventually. Some of the parties involved with making that 150 (the BVETube one that you commented on) have now left the group, for various reasons.
