Post by jckhinks on Sat Mar 03, 2018 12:12 pm

hi graymac. yes its the 0900 rathduff-kilmagranny and its at sta liomore position 10780, you have 3 stop positions at 10902 stop o;20;10;3, 10976 stop 0;20;10;6 and 11030 stop 0;1;1 its the latter when the cab marker drops down to indicate your position it puts you past the signal. hope this helps regards jack

Hi Graymac

First off, stunning job on the new 29000s. The interior is just beautiful.

Will you be adding moving bogies and speed dependent  rotating wheels to it too?

I'm looking at bogie movement at the moment, in conjunction with rebuilding the 071 locos, which look a bit naff now. I've looked at an example of rotating wheels and i'm not yet convinced (the example I have rotates when the train is at a standstill - animated formula must be defective)
It's "bangs for bucks" -  the 3D wheels on the 29000 are a huge improvement on the paper thin 2D ones. Rotating wheels aren't a big improvement over fixed 3D wheels, unless the view cam is up close and dirty there's not a lot of advantage there. Not ruling it out, but lots of more important things to do first.

I'm not sure about that one. Have you tested your train at santiago-biela, binley heath or the Brno routes yet?

I've noticed my testtrain with speed dependent rotating wheels works fine on those routes, but keeps spinning regardless of speed on yours and several others. The issue could be related to the routes rather than the formula itself.

Edit:
I think I've found it. Removing the route.interval from your routes ensures rotating wheels are working correctly. Also works the other way around. No idea how these two are related, but I'll do a bug report.
