What signal is this?  CTS routes use their own signals.

The 'default' signals are always loaded into memory. This is one of those, and I can't see any reason for this to be causing that error Sad

I can't reproduce this with any of the current BWR routefiles- Which file(s) are generating the error please?

A crash log would also be helpful if it produced one; It's not clear from your post whether it completely died.....

I can't remember which one. I've been working through 26 route files, clearing encoding errors and adding some longer platforms in some locations. It only showed up once, probably nothing to worry about. I just loaded each one again and it hasn't happened again. Train.dat errors also became apparent in the 201 locos, but I fixed those too. Haven't got the edited files packaged and up on server yet, that's the next job.

Does anyone know why i can't open the timetable at gameplay? Last version that worked at my computer is 1.4.140.1223 but since the main program growed at 1.5 and later even they showed nowhere. I checked keyboard configuration but is really there with ctrl+t key.

Thanks for attention Very Happy

Timetables work OK here.

Check the Timetable Mode under options in case that's been set to none by mistake.
I use default, and still no changes.

Well i decide to delete the settings file and now works Laughing

I don't suppose you kept a copy of the broken settings file?

Nope, either the file corrupted by virus or i did some mistakes on the configurations. But the damaged one was replaced, sorry.

I've got an oncoming train on an adjacent rail using the track follower function. The train as well as the sound are moving.

To have sound audible for the entire duration of the train passing by, the passing sound is placed at every other car.

This works only for the first 4 iterations of the sound object. Including it a 5th time causes bve to report the following:

Code:
13:12:35  An unexpected error occured (Index was outside the bounds of the array.) while attempting to load the file C:\Program Files (x86)\openBVE\LegacyContent\Railway\Object\Randstad\Animations\test.animated

Removing the sound object from the last car prevents the error from occurring.

I just hooked that up with some random stuff, and it loaded OK here.

Can you drop me a PM with the objects/ sounds in question?
Feels like it's something to do with a complex object, or perhaps the sound failing to load Sad

Without being able to reproduce it though, not sure.

You might want to consider using a single soundfile in the center of the train somewhere, and adding a Radius parameter, at a guess of ~100 or so if you're just using the same sound, as opposed to car specific sounds.

Nice one. It works as expected now.

Still, your suggestion to use a set radius is the better way to go. Without that bug I'd never have known Smile

I've noticed some weird behavior with trains having animated wheels using this formula:

RotateXFunction=Value+((Delta*Speed)/0.365)

When placed in a route that uses Route.RunInterval
the wheels start turning immediately even if the speed is zero. They'll continue to spin throughout the route and don't seem to slow down nor stop at the next stop.

For example using the CD Class 754 on any of the celtic routes this behavior can be reproduced. When removing route.runinterval the wheels behave as expected.

The wheels of that train won't look right on Irish rails  - it's the wrong track gauge !

I'm aware of that. But gauge isn't affecting this behavior.

Oops, that got introduced in 1.5.3.1

TLDR:
I noticed a massive speedup could be had by caching train externals on loading, especially with some of the oversize stuff (NYCTA for example...)
One small issue with this however Sad

This build should hopefully now be OK:

Hello,
I just installed version 1.5.3.1.
trains and routes are recognized.
when I launch, it loads the train and the course but at 100% the window closes and sends me back to the main interface.
Do you know where my problem is?
Thank you

Link to the route and train please Smile

In the bottom left of the main window, there is also a 'Report Problem' link.
Click on this, and post the previous log & crash log (if it exists)
